The Most Dangerous Version of Failure
Jan 27, 2024
In the best version of failure...the leader knows what to expect in crisis, trains for it, but fails to perform as intended.
A worse version of failure is the leader who knows what to expect in crisis but chooses not to train for it.
The most dangerous version of failure is the leader who neither examines what to expect in crisis, nor trains any of the skills required to get through it. They find comfort in being ignorant of risk and ignore their responsibility to protect their assets and their people.
🗣 If you are a leader who's committed to being ready for your next crisis, I'd like to connect for a research call. Pick a slot on my calendar or forward this to someone you know who might be interested.
Lead well!
Let's chat about crisis leadership.
I am currently conducting research calls with leaders who are serious about preparing themselves and their teams for crisis. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
